Your Florida travel plans have brought you through the Keys and now it's time for your Key West camping adventures to begin.

Not only are you able to enjoy the great Florida outdoors, there are the different activities and amenities offered by these Florida Keys RV parks.  

Plus you have the excitement of experiencing the numerous Key West activities and attractions almost at your doorstep.

Key West FL is the epicenter of Conch Republic fun and adventure.

Plus the area is famous for it's water sports, diving and fishing charters, food, and nightlife.

Camping Key West, you'll find the area has much to offer, and so do these Lower Keys and  Key West RV parks and campgrounds. You'll find that they all have their own special features, and for your convenience I've listed them in order from north to south.

Details:
This is Key West camping at it's finest. Well rated, this "RV only" resort can easily accommodate big rigs.

This Florida Keys RV resort is beautifully maintained, features extensive tropical landscaping, and spectacular water views.

All RV's must be approved for admittance and restrictions apply including a minimum length of 24 feet, no tents, tent trailers, soft side trailers, or truck campers. This Key West RV Resort does not allow check-ins after dark so if you're planning on staying at Bluewater Key RV Resort you'll need to arrive before dusk.

These RV campsites are privately owned and when not in use, they're available for rent.  The Key West campsites are well maintained, graveled for cleanliness and have concrete patios. Campsites are heavily landscaped, have full hookup with 30/50 amp service, major cable, and WiFi.

Amenities include security, restrooms and showers, laundry, ramp, fishing dock, public phone, clubhouse, and heated pool.

Florida Keys activities include fishing, boating (flats boats only), snorkeling, horseshoes, along with numerous planned campground events and activities.

Pets are welcome but there is a limit of 2 per rig, and they must be on a 6' leash or shorter. Pets must be well behaved, picked up after, and not left unattended outside.


Geiger Key Marina RV Park

Directions:
Southbound US 1, at Mile Marker 10.5, junction of US 1 and Boca Chica Road turn left (east) at Circle K and Storage Mart. Travel 1.5 miles on Boca Chica Road to Geiger Road, turn left. Travel less than 2 blocks to Park entrance

Details:
Out of the different Florida Keys RV parks, this one is known for it's fun atmosphere. Campers and non-campers come here to enjoy the good food, live entertainment, and camaraderie that Geiger Key Marina is known for.

Enjoy a true Florida Keys camping experience at this fun, activity oriented park. Only 10 miles from Key West, the laid back lifestyle is what draws people here time and again.

You have a choice of waterfront sites with boat slips or ‘inland' sites. The campsites are level and consist of coral gravel so it's easier to keep your rig clean. Sites are full hookup with 30 amp and 30/50 amp.

This Florida Keys RV park also has one upstairs efficiency vacation rental, and one primitive camping cabin available.

Amenities include boat dock, full service restaurant, tiki bar, paddleboard and kayak rentals, marina, gas, bait, fishing licenses, fish cleaning station, ice, laundry, restrooms and showers.

Campground activities include boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, paddleboarding, charter fishing excursions, Sunday BBQ's, live music, open mic Wednesdays, and informal get togethers.

This is a pet friendly park with the standard restrictions, however they do have additional restrictions on breed. If your pet is one of the excluded breeds but is well behaved, there's a possibility your pet can be accepted if you discuss your pet's "credentials" with the Manager. It's advisable to do this over the phone before making your reservations however, so you aren't disappointed when you arrive.


Boyd's Key West Campground

Directions:
South on US 1, at Mile Marker 5 and Junction US 1 and 3rd Street travel south .2 mile on 3rd Street to MacDonald Avenue/Maloney Avenue. Turn east (left) and go .3 mile to park entrance on left

Details:
This Florida Keys RV park allows for all types of Key West camping and has a relatively large number of tent sites.

The interior roads are well maintained and paved, and the sites are either gravel, grass or dirt. There are some waterfront campsites, some are shaded and some are back-ins.

RV campsites are full hookup with patios so you can put our your decorative camping rug and stay clean.  They also have 30/50 amp service, major cable, and WiFi. Landscaping includes coconut palms and other lush vegetation at the campsites and throughout the park, adding to the tropical charm.

Amenities include security, restrooms, showers, laundry, ATM, gift and grocery store, RV supplies, city bus service, heated pool, pavillion, game room, marina, ramp, boat slips, fish cleaning station, and firewood. Access to both the Atlantic and the Gulf is also easy from this Key West campground.

Key West camping activities include fishing, boating, snorkeling, and relaxing on the beach. This Key West campground also has a tremendous number of planned activities that are in-park as well as outside planned excursions.

This Park has the standard pet restrictions but they also have restrictions on certain breeds and temperament. You'll need to confirm that they will accept your pet before making reservations.


El Mar RV Resort

Directions:
Southbound US at Mile Marker 5 turn left at blinking light. Travel 1 block and turn left onto McDonald/Malone Avenue. Park is .5 mile on right

Details:
This is a very small Key West campground in terms of number of campsites, however, the campsites are wider and longer than normal, averaging 30' x 75' so big rigs easily fit.

This Key West campground is also very clean and well maintained. The roads are paved, and the sites are gravel with concrete patios. Coconut palms and other tropical plants dot the landscaping adding to the ambience.

There are 5 water front sites and 5 ‘inland' sites. All are full hookup with 30/50 amp service, and major cable.

This RV Park has a number of Key West camping restrictions that include parking, storage and number of people per unit. They also do not allow tents, pop-ups or truck campers. Pet restrictions are the standard ones, but they also limit the number to no more than 2 dogs per unit, and a maximum weight of 25 pounds per pet.

Directions:
Southbound US 1, at Mile Marker 4.5 turn left on Cross Street, then almost immediately turn left onto Suncrest Road

Details:
Enjoy Key West camping at this newer and affordable Florida Keys RV park located across US 1 from the Key West Golf Club.

Tent camping sites and RV campsites are available at this Key West campground. RV campsites are full hookup, with some having 50 amp service, and major cable. Campsites are predominantly grassy and picnic tables are at each site.

Campground amenities include restrooms and showers, a community BBQ area, and laundry.

Pets are welcome but breed restrictions apply and there is a surcharge for pets.  Campers in tents and pop-ups are not allowed to have pets with them.
